Virtually hang art on your own wall

Use the Augmented Reality | Virtual Art Hanging app to virtually hang my art pieces on your own wall.

How does it work?

Six easy steps to take the most out of your augmented reality app

STEP 1 – Download the app for your mobile iOS device from the App Store.

STEP 2 – Print out the AR marker on an A4 sheet.

STEP 3 – Tape the marker image on your wall | The center point of the marker on your wall, will be the center point of the art image.

STEP 4 – Enter the Left Ahead Photography Exhibition ID in the SEARCH box on the app then click VIEW EXHIBITION. This will bring up small images of all the art in that exhibition. Example: “Afterimage AR” Virtual Art Exhibition ID# 1098

STEP 5 – Aim the camera of your device directly at the marker

STEP 6 – Select the art piece that you want to see on the wall | Wait a few seconds for your device to load the image and then the art will appear to be hanging on your wall (as viewed through the screen on your phone or tablet.)

The image may dance around for a while. Use the app controls at the bottom of the screen to FREEZE the image after it settles at the right spot; and take a SCREENSHOT for fun!

Wanderlust (Hopewell Rocks) https://leftahead.ca/blog/wanderlust https://leftahead.ca/blog/wanderlust#respond Fri, 04 Oct 2019 04:53:24 +0000 https://leftahead.ca/?p=4846 Walking through the seabed at Hopewell Rocks (New Brunswick) at low tide makes you feel like you encountered a series of alien ships on an exoplanet.     The Hopewell Rocks, also called the Flowerpots Rocks or simply The Rocks, are rock formations caused by tidal erosion in The Hopewell Rocks Ocean Tidal Exploration Site in New Brunswick. They stand 40–70 feet tall. They are located on the shores of the upper reaches of the Bay of Fundy at Hopewell Cape near the end of a series of Fundy coastal tourism hubs including Fundy National Park and the Fundy Trail. Due to the extreme tidal range of the Bay of Fundy, the base of the formations are covered in water twice a day. However, it is possible to view the formations from ground level at low tide.

Talked to so many art enthusiasts and marked record sales. Thanks to those who came by! The Collingwood Art Crawl is a free, self-guided art walk, featuring over 40 artists and 40 musicians at more than 40 venues, with live music and incredible art, all in downtown Collingwood.

The original wood frame house burned in early 1941 and was replaced with the current structure. The concrete blocks for the home were pressed on the property. The house was the home of Vernon and Betty Moore. Vernon was born in 1931 on the Moore farm. Vernon and Betty enjoyed 63 years of marriage living in this home and raising their family. The home continues to stand the test of time and the Ravenna winds.
